Baby's on the way...

Lou por, you are the greatest! Thank you for sacrificing so much for our baby. I know it's not easy to stay at home, going complete rest as advised by the doctors.

It's only now that I realised the greatness of motherly love. Friends and family, always remember to appreciate our mothers, for their unconditional love, and their sacrifices they'd made to groom us up to what we are today.

Wanna take this opportunity to thank our parents, for being considerate in taking good care of Shew Leng during her rest at home. Chief Rev. Ratana has also been very kind to Leng and baby, by giving us constant blessings and puja to help us protect the baby with the blessings of Buddha and the devas.

To families and friends, who are Buddhists, do spend more time chanting Angulimala Sutra if you / your wife is pregnant. Apparently it was the sutra used by Lord Buddha in giving his blessings to pregnant mothers to safeguard the baby.

It reads:
Yatoham bhagini ariyaya jatiya jato
Nabbhi janami sancicca
Panam jatiya voropeta
Tena Saccena sotthi te
Hotu sotthi bhagini
