(YiYi) is her name...

Home Sweet Home... our love barn...

Home, this is our Home. We've been searching for a house to start our very own family for months. Finally, we stumble upon a semi complete project in Shah Alam. It was one fine morning, Leng, Fun Liang and I had our Klang Bak Kut Teh breakfast and was heading home. We decided to stop by to see the showhouse. We fell in love the first instance we stepped in.

The next minute, we were at the Sales Office looking at the project plan. Almost 70% was taken up. Well, buying a house is one of the biggest decision in my life, and it requires long term financial commitments. Figures started to run through our heads as we compute the downpayment, monthly installments, bank charges, legal fees, etc... we almost drained our heads of exhaustion doing the mind computation.

Since it's a big decision to make, we decided to sleep it over before deciding. Off we hop onto my car, and started circling looking for other choices. Well, there were more houses under construction, beautiful and huge houses. Naturally, beauty and size equates to $$. It was discouragingly too expensive for our lil' savings. After a couple of hours of tiring hunt for choices, we made a U-turn back to the initial Sales Office again.

To be exact, we repeated the same process of circling around, U-turned, walked into the Sales Office for FOUR TIMES and eventually, we gave in and made our booking. I just cannot imagine, that we are buying a house! I've bought cars, and other costly items, but buying a house is really totally different from all of our major purchases... it involves our future, our lil' place to start our family, the place where we will grow our children, the place where our parents will be able to stay with us and many other things that could shape our future by the house. YiYi is the name of the house during our booking. Really an easy name to remember.

I could still remember how amused were we, having to and fro the Sales Office for FOUR TIMES. It was well worth it.

We went home feeling great knowing YiYi will be our home in a couple of years time.

The very next day, I brought my mom to the Sales Office. She was glad that we made that choice. We had already reserved a room for her and dad. The best thing in life is not where we stay, doesn't matter if it's a big and expensive house with expensive furnishings or the best interior, it is having to live our lives with our love ones. Rooms were also reserved for our grannies. Their presence graces the house.
